This will be my first year teaching and I couldn't be more blessed than to be placed in 3rd grade!
As I embark in this wonderful world of teaching, I have found limited resources for bilingual teachers. Womp, womp. :/
As a result, I made this visual for the "Author's Purpose" so students can see physically see PIE! In includes Persuade, Inform, and Entertain with a description and examples of each. It then has the translation right next to it!
I was thinking of originally doing something with a foot, (PIE means foot) Get it? Haha. But I decided to go with the PIE since students will essentially get the gist of it. :)
I am so excited for this upcoming school year!
I have a To Do list that will include: Plot Elements, Text Structure, Reading Strategies, Figurative Language, etc! Be in the look out for those soon! :)
